Job Description
A healthcare professional is needed to provide nursing care in a school setting serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract position is located in Saint Albans, VT, and requires licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Vermont.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Vermont RN or LPN license
- Experience working in school health services preferred
- Ability to manage the health needs of a diverse student population
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Location:
- Saint Albans, VT
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care and health assessments to students within the school
- Manage the health office and maintain accurate health records
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student health and safety
- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed
Schedule:
- 3 to 5 days per week, aligned with the school calendar
