A contract opportunity is available for a 1:1 nurse to provide specialized care for a kindergartener with severe needs near Rome, GA. This position requires 9 hours per week supporting a student with tracheostomy care in a school setting.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 nursing care tailored to the students severe medical needs
- Monitor and manage tracheostomy equipment and related health protocols
- Collaborate with school staff and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate documentation of nursing interventions and communications
Qualifications:
- Valid RN or LPN/LVN license
- Experience providing 1:1 pediatric nursing in school or similar environments
- Proficiency with tracheostomy care and working with students with severe needs
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
