This position offers a unique opportunity for a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in an early childhood school setting. As a 1:1 RN, you will work closely with a single student throughout the school day, delivering essential health services and ensuring their well-being in an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care including suctioning, tube feedings, and respiratory support
- Monitor and manage the students health needs throughout the school day
- Collaborate with educational staff and caregivers to support the students health and safety
- Manage transportation coordination between home and school to ensure seamless care continuity
Qualifications:
- Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license is required
- Experience in pediatric nursing or school nursing preferred
- Skills in respiratory assistance, suctioning, and tube feeding are essential
- Ability to work onsite for 35 hours per week, primarily Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- Reliable transportation for home-to-school and school-to-home travel
