A substitute Registered Nurse (RN) is needed for a K-12 school in Richmond, TX, providing essential health services during a short-term contract from January 21st to February 6th, 2026. This role offers an opportunity to support students' health and well-being in an educational setting, working approximately 35 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications to students as prescribed
- Assist with day-to-day health room activities and student health management
- Respond to minor injuries and illnesses occurring on school premises
- Communicate effectively with school staff, students, and parents regarding health concerns
- Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with school health policies
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience working as an RN in a school setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of medication administration and health room procedures
- Ability to work independently and manage health emergencies efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with K-12 students and school personnel
