A part-time opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse (RN BSN) to provide dedicated health support within a K-12 school setting. This contract role involves working onsite to deliver 1:1 nursing care for a student with minor medical needs. The position offers a balanced schedule with 10 hours per week, structured as 2 hours daily, Monday through Friday, for the duration of the current school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized nursing support to a student requiring minor medical assistance.
- Monitor and manage the students health needs consistently and professionally.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure a safe and supportive educational environment.
- Maintain accurate health records and communicate important updates as necessary.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid RN license with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) for Washington State.
- Experience in a school nursing role or working with pediatric populations preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with educators, students, and families.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide compassionate care.
Location:
- Onsite position based in Renton, WA, serving one K-12 public school.
