This full-time, 40-hour-per-week position is located near Quitman, GA, and is ideal for a dedicated RN who values individualized care and wants to make a meaningful impact in a student's daily life. Your clinical skills and nurturing approach will ensure that this studentwho has a trach and feeding tubereceives the highest standard of care throughout the school day.
What you bring to the role:
- Active Georgia RN License
- Current BLS and CPR certifications
- Previous experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or 1:1 care preferred
- Comfort and proficiency in trach and feeding tube management
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to safety protocols
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing attentive, compassionate 1:1 care to a student throughout the school day
- Monitoring medical status, performing necessary interventions (trach suctioning, tube feeding), and responding to emergencies
- Administering medications and documenting care according to school policies
- Collaborating with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to support the students academic and health goals
- Maintaining accurate health records and creating a safe environment for the student
