A school-based Registered Nurse (RN) position is available, providing essential healthcare services within an educational setting. This role involves delivering direct nursing care to students, managing health plans, and collaborating with school staff to promote a safe and healthy learning environment.

Location: Puyallup, WA (Kent Meridian High School and preschool health room)
Position Type: Contract, School Year (CSY)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and health support to students in a preschool health room on Mondays and Wednesdays.
• Deliver one-on-one nursing support at the high school on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
• Manage student health records and medication administration.
• Respond to student health needs and emergencies promptly and effectively.
• Communicate and collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State.
• Prior experience providing 1:1 nursing care, preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team within a school environment.
