Step into a rewarding contract role this summer by supporting students as a Registered Nurse in a dedicated school health room near Pulaski, NY. This opportunity spans from July 6 to August 14, with working hours from 8:15 am to 3:15 pm, Monday through Friday. Youll work in one school, providing essential health services to students in an ESY program, and ensuring their well-being during summer learning.

Key Qualifications:

• Active New York RN license required
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred, but not mandatory
• Strong assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while being a part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment for students

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver daily nursing care and manage health needs within the school health room
• Administer medications and first aid as needed
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and communicate with guardians as appropriate
• Maintain accurate student health records and documentation
• Collaborate with educators and school staff on student wellness plans
• Provide health education and guidance to students and staff
• Promote positive health practices and support a safe summer program
