This school-based RN/LPN position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity near Providence, RI, serving an elementary-age population. This role provides the chance to work closely with young learners, helping to foster a safe and healthy school environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN or LPN license required
• Previous experience as a school nurse or in a pediatric setting highly valued
• Ability to respond calmly and appropriately to health emergencies
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Collaborative mindset, comfortable working with teachers, parents, and school teams

Role Highlights:

• Work at a single elementary school with a consistent age group
• Part-time hours: 8:00-9:30am and 2:45-4:15pm, Monday through Friday (totaling 16 hours/week)
• Receive compensation for 4 hours per day, regardless of direct student time
• Support students daily needs, administer medications, manage chronic conditions, and address urgent health concerns
• Partner with school faculty and families to maintain a safe, healthy learning environment
• Participate in school safety planning, serve on wellness committees, and provide health education as needed
• Onsite panel interviews scheduled with 24 hours notice; expedited offer process
