Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and valid RN or LPN license
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric healthcare setting preferred
- Ability to respond quickly and confidently to health-related incidents
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with students, staff, and parents
- Compassion, patience, and adaptability in caring for children
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to elementary-aged students during morning and afternoon hours
- Administer medications, respond to student health needs, and manage daily health office activities
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation according to school guidelines
- Collaborate with school staff to produce a safe, nurturing environment
- Educate students and staff on health practices when appropriate
