Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire (or compact state eligibility)
- Experience working in a school environment or with adolescent populations preferred
- Up-to-date CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of student health regulations and emergency response protocols
- Ability to adapt quickly and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver effective nursing care to high school students, addressing both acute and chronic health issues
- Administer medication and perform routine health screenings
- Document changes in health status and maintain accurate student health records
- Serve as a resource to students, parents, and staff concerning health matters
- Respond to emergencies and manage individualized health plans
- Collaborate with educators and counselors to support holistic student well-being
- Educate students on healthy habits and illness prevention
