You'll be stepping in to cover a vacation absence, ensuring continuity of care and support.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey
- Prior experience in a school setting is preferred
- Confident in providing 1:1 care for students with complex medical needs
- Experience with G-tube feedings
- Comfortable bus riding alongside the student for transportation needs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Must be available for in-person assignments; no virtual options
Responsibilities:
- Deliver attentive 1:1 care for a medically fragile student during school hours and bus transportation
- Manage G-tube feeding, medication administration, and emergency care as needed
- Ensure compliance with healthcare protocols and individualized education plans
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to maintain best practices
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of the student's health status and interventions
- Assist in providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment
Assignment Details:
- In-person only (no telehealth or remote options)
- Contract assignment covering from October 1, 2026, through October 10, 2026
- Schedule: Approximately 8:00/8:15 AM 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
