Job Description
Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with pediatric and school nursing experience for a part-time contract position in a school setting located in Plainfield, IL. This role is ideal for an RN passionate about providing quality healthcare support to students during after-school hours.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering comprehensive care to students, including diabetic management and emergency interventions
- Collaborating with school staff and families to promote student health and wellness
- Monitoring student health records and administering medications as prescribed
- Responding promptly to any medical situations during the after-school program
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience as a pediatric nurse and/or school nurse
- Strong knowledge of diabetic care and management in children
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during after-school hours
Work schedule:
- Part-time contract from February 23, 2026, to May 2, 2026
- Monday through Thursday, 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM
