A full-time Certified School Nurse is needed to support a K-12 school in Clairton, PA. This contract position begins immediately and continues through the end of the current school year. The role involves working Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, serving a student population of approximately 800. The nurse will work alongside a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide comprehensive health services within the school setting.
Responsibilities include managing daily health needs, administering medications, conducting health screenings, and developing individualized care plans tailored to student needs. The nurse will also respond to acute health issues, promote health education, and ensure compliance with state and federal health regulations. Collaboration with school staff, families, and healthcare providers is essential to support student well-being and maintain a healthy school environment.
