A full-time RN or LPN opportunity is available at an elementary school in Phoenix, AZ, offering a contract position for the current school year (CSY). This role provides essential healthcare services in a school setting, supporting students with specialized medical needs. The successful candidate will have experience in school nursing and be comfortable managing caseloads that include bus riding supervision and providing 1:1 support for students with gastrostomy tubes (G-tube) and tracheostomies (Trach).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to students, including medication administration and monitoring health status.
• Maintain direct 1:1 support for students requiring G-tube and tracheostomy care.
• Supervise students during bus transportation to ensure safety and address medical needs.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized health plans.
• Administer emergency care and respond to health crises as needed.
• Document all nursing activities and maintain accurate health records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and valid RN or LPN license.
• Experience working in school health settings, preferably with pediatric populations.
• Skilled in G-tube and tracheostomy care.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Work Schedule: Full-time, contract position during the current school year
Pay Rate: $35 per hour
