A full-time Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity is available in the educational setting of Paterson, NJ, providing comprehensive nursing support throughout an entire school building. This contract position begins ASAP and continues through June 26, 2026, requiring an onsite presence Monday through Friday for 35 hours per week.
Ideal candidates will possess active school nurse licensure and certifications for the state of New Jersey. Previous experience specifically within schoolsnot limited to clinical settingsis mandatory to effectively manage the health needs of students and staff district-wide. The role demands being physically present on location to ensure direct care and support.
Key qualifications and requirements include:
- Active New Jersey school nurse licensure and certifications
- Proven school-based nursing experience
- Ability to service an entire school building with district-wide responsibilities
- Completion of fingerprints for both agency and school district
- Required TB test and recent physical examination
- Availability for in-person or Zoom interview
