This opportunity involves providing nursing services as a Registered Nurse (RN) within a school district located in Owego, NY. The position is contract-based, beginning January 2026, and is full-time with a regular schedule from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The role supports both elementary and middle school populations, working itinerantly across 12 different school sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care across multiple school locations as needed
- Support and assist existing school nurses in managing student health needs
- Cover nursing assignments throughout the district on an itinerant basis
- Manage health-related documentation and follow protocols for student safety and wellbeing
Qualifications:
- Valid New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Previous experience working in school or pediatric nursing environments is preferred
- Ability to work onsite and travel between multiple school sites within the district
