This full-time, contract position is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse eager to make a direct impact in a school setting. Located near Overland Park, KS, you'll work in a 1:1 capacity, providing essential healthcare and building meaningful relationships with your student.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license
• Experience working in schools or pediatric settings preferred
• Familiarity with medical complexities and care of medically fragile students
• BLS/CPR certification
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, aides, and family members
• Strong communication skills and compassionate bedside manner
• Flexibility to provide care during bus transportation as needed

Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver direct 1:1 nursing care to students with significant health needs during the school day
• Monitor, assess, and document health status, medication administration, and clinical interventions
• Prepare and implement Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) in collaboration with educational teams
• Respond promptly to emergencies and adjust care as needed
• Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with school policy
• Communicate regularly with school staff and families to ensure continuity of care
• Accompany and monitor students during transportation to and from school as required
