Job Description

Candidates with prior school nursing experience are highly desired, but those transitioning from clinical nursing are welcomejust be prepared to share your motivation for making the switch to working with children in a school-based role. What Were Looking For:

  • Valid RN license required (Illinois)
  • Strong communication, assessment, and clinical documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with educators and parents
  • A caring, student-centered approach to health and wellness
  • Previous school nursing experience is a plus, but not required
  • Willingness to verify and comfortably commute to the Waukegan campus

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct nursing care, including medication administration and first aid
