A full-time Registered Nurse position is available in a school setting located in Orange, NJ. This contract role offers 35 hours per week, with a start date as soon as possible, extending through June 26, 2026. The nurse will provide district-wide support, servicing an entire school building.
Key responsibilities include delivering comprehensive nursing care to students within the school environment, monitoring health concerns, administering medications, and collaborating with school staff to ensure a safe and healthy learning space. The role requires on-site presence throughout the contract period.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse licensure and school nurse certifications in New Jersey
- Proven school-based nursing experience; clinical-only backgrounds will not be considered
- Ability to support an entire school buildings healthcare needs
- Compliance with fingerprinting requirements for both the agency and district
- Current TB test and physical exam documentation
- Availability for in-person or Zoom interviews
