Key Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas
• Previous experience in a school setting or pediatric care preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school personnel
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to detail

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized nursing care throughout the school day to a medically fragile student
• Administer medications, manage complex medical needs, and monitor vital signs as required
• Collaborate closely with special education staff, teachers, and parents to support the students education and health plans
• Document health observations and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies
• Respond promptly to any health emergencies and implement care plans accordingly
• Help facilitate the students safe participation in classroom and school activities
