Providing Certified School Nurse support to multiple elementary schools, this role involves managing 504 plans and delivering comprehensive care across four locations in a part-time capacity throughout the school year. The position is based onsite in Oakland, CA, supporting K-12 students with a focus on elementary education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Certified School Nurse supporting four elementary schools on a rotating schedule, approximately 3 days per week.
• Manage and implement 504 health plans in collaboration with school staff and families.
• Provide direct health care services and nursing assessments to students.
• Monitor and document student health records, ensuring compliance with state regulations and school policies.
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to promote a healthy school environment.
• Respond to medical emergencies as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
• Possession of a Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential for schools in California.
• Experience working in school health services or pediatric nursing preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple school locations effectively.

Location: Oakland, California (Onsite)

Schedule: Part-time, approximately 15-20 hours per week, 3 days per week for the duration of the school year (Contract)
