Role Highlights:

• Position: School Registered Nurse
• Schedule: Fridays only (7 hours per week)
• Caseload: 1:1 with a student requiring g-tube support
• Location: Near Northbrook, IL
• Compensation: $50 per hour

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of Illinois
• Previous nursing experience in pediatric or school environments preferred
• Demonstrated expertise with g-tube care and monitoring
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with educators, support staff, and guardians
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and following all safety practices

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, 1:1 medical support to assigned student throughout the school day
• Administer and monitor g-tube feedings and related care per medical plan
• Communicate regularly with school staff and the students guardians to ensure seamless care
• Document all clinical actions and observations in accordance with school policy
• Respond calmly and effectively to any medical needs or emergencies
