Qualifications:
- Current Illinois RN license required
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to respond effectively to medical situations as they arise

Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to K-12 students as part of the schools health services team
- Assess and manage illnesses, injuries, and chronic health conditions during school hours
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation according to state and district guidelines
- Provide health education to students and staff, promoting wellness and preventative care
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents on student health plans
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as needed
- Participate in creating and implementing emergency action plans within the school
