An opportunity is available for a full-time Staff Nurse/Teaching Assistant to support school-age students with multiple disabilities in a school setting. This travel position is based in Green Lane, PA, and extends through June 2026. The ideal candidate will have experience working within educational environments, providing specialized nursing care to children with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care and health support aligned with individualized education plans for students with multiple disabilities.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other school staff to create a safe and supportive learning atmosphere.
- Monitor and document student health status and communicate effectively with families and medical professionals.
- Assist with classroom activities and support student engagement under the guidance of teaching staff.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) credentials required.
- Experience in school nursing or pediatric nursing preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic educational environment.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to student care.
Location & Schedule:
- Position located in Green Lane, PA.
- Full-time hours with assignment duration from ASAP through June 2026.
