Part-Time Registered Nurse Newport, NH

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse for a part-time school-based position in Newport, New Hampshire. This is a great opportunity for an RN who enjoys working with students and wants to provide meaningful healthcare support in a school environment.

Position Highlights

  • Provide nursing care and health support to students throughout the school day

  • Assess student health needs and respond to illnesses, injuries, and medical concerns

  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and school policies

  • Monitor students with chronic health conditions and other ongoing medical needs

  • Develop and maintain appropriate student health plans and documentation

  • Communicate with families regarding student health needs as appropriate

  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, special education staff, and healthcare providers

  • Help maintain a safe, healthy, and supportive school environment

Qualifications

  • Active New Hampshire RN license required

  • Current CPR/BLS certification preferred

  • Pediatric or school nursing experience preferred

  • Experience working with children or students with special healthcare needs is a plus

  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with the school team
