School Nurse Full Time
Location: New Haven, INArea
Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate

Job Overview:

Promote and protect the health and well-being of students through direct care, health education, and preventive services
Assess and address acute and chronic health needs of students; administer medication and treatments as prescribed
Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with state-mandated screenings and immunization requirements
Collaborate with school staff, families, and outside health providers to support student success
Participate in IEP and 504 Plan development when health services are required
Respond to medical emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed
Support health-related policies and procedures across the school community

Requirements:

Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of application (required)
Prior experience in school settings or pediatric nursing preferred; new graduates with strong clinical experience considered
Strong communication, organizational, and clinical decision-making skills
