Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active RN license required
- Pediatric or school nursing experience strongly preferred
- Compassionate demeanor with strong communication skills
- Comfortable providing care in a 1:1 student support setting
Responsibilities:
- Assist a kindergarten-aged student with Type 1 Diabetes (recently diagnosed)
- Provide focused care and support while riding the bus to and from school
- Collaborate with the schools on-site nurse as needed
- Monitor students wellbeing and educate on best practices for diabetes care
