Step into a vital role supporting student health and well-being as a dedicated 1:1 Registered Nurse for a high school student. This full-time contract position offers the rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact throughout the 2026-2027 school year, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through June 2027. Youll work Monday through Friday, providing consistent care for approximately 35-37.5 hours each week.

In this role, you will accompany a male high school student throughout his educational day, assisting with personal care, hygiene needs, and overseeing safety during transport to and from school via bus. Your clinical expertise will ensure swift, effective care, including administering emergency seizure medication as needed, although seizure activity is expected to be infrequent.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure
• Experience in school nursing or 1:1 care strongly preferred
• Solid skills in personal care, medication administration, and emergency response
• Compassionate demeanor with strong communication abilities
• Comfortable supporting students with special medical needs
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of maintaining confidentiality

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized care for the assigned student throughout the school day
• Support all personal hygiene and medical needs
• Monitor and respond promptly to any health emergencies, including seizure management
• Ride the school bus with the student, ensuring safe transport
• Maintain accurate health records and collaborate with school staff as needed
