We are seeking a dedicated Certified School Nurse (RN, CSN) to provide expert care and advocacy for students in a full-time, on-site contract position. Key Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Nurse Endorsement (CSN)
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
- Prior experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations
- Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational abilities
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
- Strong commitment to promoting health and wellness in the school community
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care and health services to students and staff
- Conduct health assessments, including vision, hearing, and mandated screenings
- Coordinate care plans for students with chronic conditions, medication needs, or emergencies
- Promote preventative healthcare, health education, and wellness initiatives
- Provide first aid and manage acute health incidents on campus
- Serve as a resource for staff regarding student health concerns and IEP/504 processes
- Maintain accurate medical records, documentation, and compliance with school health policies

Compensation for this position ranges from $28.00 to $45.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
