A full-time Registered Nurse opportunity is available within a K-12 school setting near Glen Ellyn, IL. This health room position supports student health and wellness throughout the school year, from ASAP through the end of February. The role requires a licensed RN with experience in school nursing to provide exemplary care and health services to students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care and first aid to students in the health room
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to promote student health and safety
- Respond to emergencies and coordinate with healthcare professionals as needed
- Implement health education and illness prevention programs in the school setting
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
