Providing specialized nursing care as a School RN or LPN, this position involves working closely with a student requiring 1:1 support due to a tracheostomy and seizure disorder. The role transitions into a full-time health room nurse position in the afternoon, offering a blend of focused individual care and broader school nursing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one nursing care to a student with complex medical needs, including tracheostomy and seizure management.
• Monitor and support students health status throughout the school day.
• Transition to full-time health room nursing duties in the afternoon, managing general student health concerns.
• Collaborate with educational staff, families, and healthcare providers to support student well-being.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records in compliance with school policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN or LPN/LVN licensure applicable to school nursing.
