A part-time Registered Nurse opportunity is available to provide essential medical support to a medically fragile student within an elementary school setting in Mount Prospect, IL. This contract position offers approximately 10 hours per week during the current school year, focusing on delivering skilled nursing care to ensure the student's health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized nursing care to support a medically fragile student according to established healthcare plans and protocols.
• Monitor the students condition, administer medications, and manage medical equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to maintain effective communication and continuity of care.
• Respond promptly to any medical emergencies or concerns during school hours.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of nursing assessments and interventions.
• Support the students educational experience by facilitating health-related accommodations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience working in a school nursing environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to care for medically fragile children with complex health needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to work cooperatively with educators and families.
• Knowledge of pediatric nursing, emergency response, and medication administration.
