A Certified School Nurse (CSN) opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to provide essential health services across multiple educational settings. This full-time, onsite role involves supporting the healthcare needs of students primarily at the elementary and middle school levels, with flexibility to assist at four different locations within the district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care and support to students across multiple school sites.
- Collaborate with onsite Registered Nurses (RNs) to implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) addressing student health needs.
- Monitor student health, manage chronic conditions, and provide first aid as necessary.
- Maintain accurate health records and communicate with families, staff, and healthcare providers.
- Promote health education and wellness initiatives within the school community.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Illinois Certified School Nurse (CSN) license required.
- Proven experience in school nursing or a related healthcare role preferred.
- Ability to flexibly cover multiple school locations as needed.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to supporting student health and educational success.
