A healthcare position is available for a Registered Nurse (RN), Certified School Nurse (CSN), or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide essential nursing services within a school district located in Morgan Hill, California. This contract role offers a unique opportunity to support student health across multiple locations, including Morgan Hill, San Jose, Gilroy, and San Martin.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hearing and vision screenings for students in accordance with school health protocols.
- Collaborate with existing school nursing staff to support health initiatives throughout the school year.
- Manage a varied caseload, addressing diverse student health needs and disabilities.
- Maintain compliance with California school nursing standards and student health regulations.
- Follow the Morgan Hill Unified School District student calendar, providing nursing services approximately 6 hours per day.
Qualifications:
- Valid California license as a Registered Nurse (RN), Certified School Nurse (CSN), or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
- Prior experience working in school health or pediatric nursing preferred.
- Ability to handle varied health conditions and coordinate care within an educational setting.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, parents, and school personnel.
- Availability to begin immediately and commit through the end of the current school year.

- Primary assignment in Morgan Hill, CA 95037, with potential service across nearby cities including San Jose (94088), Gilroy (95020), and San Martin (95046).
