Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Prior experience in school health settings preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Adaptability and a calm, compassionate demeanor under pressure
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and faculty
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to students, including medication administration and emergency response
- Conduct routine health screenings and maintain detailed health records in compliance with school policies
- Partner with teachers and administrators to address student health concerns and promote safe learning environments
- Educate students and staff on health issues, wellness practices, and preventative care
- Participate in developing individualized health care plans for students with chronic conditions
