Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse to support students in a school-based setting in Monticello, Minnesota. This is a great opportunity for an experienced nurse who enjoys working with children and wants to make a meaningful impact on student health, safety, and success.
Position Highlights
- Provide nursing care and health support to students throughout the school day
- Assess student health needs and respond to illnesses, injuries, and medical concerns
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and school policies
- Develop and maintain student health plans and appropriate medical documentation
- Monitor students with chronic health conditions and provide ongoing care as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Support a safe, inclusive, and health-focused school environment
Qualifications
- Active Minnesota RN license required
- School nursing or pediatric experience preferred
- Experience working with children or in a school setting is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and clinical judgment
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and school staff
- Minnesota School Nurse or Public Health Nurse credentials preferred/required as applicable to the assignment
