A summer opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse to provide essential healthcare services within a school setting in Monticello, MN. This contract position runs during the summer months and offers a focused schedule ideal for professionals seeking meaningful work with a consistent routine.
Location: Monticello, MN
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM
Position Type: Contract Summer assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care and health assessments to students in accordance with school policies and medical protocols.
- Manage student health records, including medication administration and immunization tracking.
- Collaborate with school staff to promote a safe and healthy learning environment.
- Provide health education and support to students and families as needed.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide first aid or necessary interventions.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Minnesota.
- Experience working in school nursing or pediatric healthcare preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and school personnel.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation.
- CPR and First Aid certification current or ability to obtain.
