A full-time Registered Nurse position is available in Houston, TX, supporting the health and wellness of elementary and middle school students. This role focuses on providing essential health room services within a school setting, ensuring students receive timely care and health education.
Qualifications:
- Current Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license
- CPR certification
- Experience working with pediatric populations or in school health settings preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care and health assessments to students
- Manage the health room and coordinate care for students with a variety of medical needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding health concerns
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation
- Collaborate with school personnel to support student health plans and compliance with health policies
Position Details:
- Location: Houston, TX
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break
- Serve elementary and middle school age groups
- Contract position within a school health room environment
