This travel position is for three Licensed School Nurses (LSN) who will serve as itinerant clinicians across five schools in a lively, inclusive district. Expect meaningful connections, new challenges, and the chance to make a real difference every day.
Qualifications:
- Current RN License
- Public Health License
- School Nurse License issued by the Board of Teaching
- Valid and up-to-date CPR and BLS certifications
- Experience as an RN, particularly in a school setting, is highly desirable
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site nursing care and health services to students across five district schools
- Collaborate with educators, families, and district staff to support student health
- Maintain and monitor health records, immunizations, and emergency action plans
- Offer health education, wellness initiatives, and leadership in school health policy
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and chronic health concerns
