As a travel nurse supporting the health room in a high school setting, youll have the opportunity to collaborate with dedicated professionals, explore innovative healthcare practices, and build valuable leadership skillsall while enhancing your resume. A long-term sub opportunity for 6-8 weeks, starting as soon as possible, this assignment offers mentorship and professional development through our Clinical Advisory Team, ensuring youll have guidance and support every step of the way.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required; LPN/LVN with school or pediatric experience also considered
- Previous experience in a school or adolescent healthcare environment preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily health room support for high school students and staff
- Administer medications, manage emergencies, and maintain accurate health records
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school personnel
- Support the development of a safe, healthy school environment
