Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in school nursing, pediatric care, or public health strongly preferred
  • Able to work independently and adapt to the dynamic needs of a school health office
  • Strong assessment, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to respond promptly to illnesses, injuries, and health concerns
  • Committed to upholding confidentiality and ethical healthcare standards

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily healthcare support to students and staff from July 6 through August 14
  • Administer routine and emergency care, medications, and treatments as prescribed
  • Maintain accurate and thorough health records in compliance with all regulations
  • Educate students and staff on best practices for wellness and safety
  • Collaborate with school personnel and families to address individual health plans
  • Promote a safe and healthy environment in the schools health room
