Advance your nursing career by supporting students in a specialized educational setting as an Overnight Registered Nurse. This rewarding contract position calls for compassionate, experienced nurses to deliver high-quality care at an onsite location, with a schedule designed for those who excel in overnight shifts.
In this role, you will work onsite, Sunday through Thursday, from 11pm to 7am, helping create a safe and nurturing environment for students. This contract position runs through June 2026, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact over an extended period.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active RN license required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience with a focus on pediatric care
- School nursing experience highly valued
- Excellent assessment and communication skills
- Ability to remain attentive and responsive overnight
- Strong organizational abilities to manage medical documentation and protocols
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overnight medical care, monitoring, and emergency response for students
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as needed
- Communicate effectively with students, school staff, and families
- Maintain accurate health records and ensure all care meets regulatory guidelines
- Uphold a nurturing, professional presence during overnight hours
