A Registered Nurse (RN) is needed for a middle school health room position in Billerica, MA. This contract role offers weekdays with morning to early afternoon hours, providing direct nursing support to a caseload including five diabetic students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily nursing care and health services to middle school students.
- Manage and monitor health plans, particularly for students with diabetes.
- Administer medication and first aid as needed.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure student health and safety.
- Maintain accurate medical records and communicate health concerns appropriately.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts.
- Experience in school nursing highly preferred.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday from 6:50 AM to 1:50 PM.
- Comfortable managing health needs of middle school-aged children, especially related to chronic conditions like diabetes.
