Make a positive difference in students lives while embracing variety and autonomy as a contract Registered Nurse supporting schools near Liberty, MO. This full-time position runs through the end of the school year (May 22) with the opportunity to extend for the Extended School Year (June 125). Youll play a pivotal roleeither providing dedicated, individualized care as a 1:1 nurse for a student or serving as a float nurse across various campuses should the primary student not attend ESY.

What You'll Bring:

• Active RN license in Missouri with a clean record (verified via Nursys)
• Solid clinical background (recent pediatric experienceICU, ER, or school nursing preferred)
• Flexibility and adaptability with changing schedules, field trips, and multiple site assignments, including floating between PreK12th grade campuses
• Proficiency with computer-based charting and multitasking in a dynamic environment
• Comfort running a health room independently as the go-to nurse at a school
• Strong communication skills and collaborative spirit
• Prior experience working with children/adolescents is highly valued
• No new grads for this opportunity

Your Role:

• Provide 1:1 care to a designated student if required, including direct health support and monitoring safety as needed
• Serve as a general health room nurse, covering sites across the district and accompanying students on field trips
• Triage and respond independently to a wide variety of student needs, from routine care to urgent health situations
• Maintain accurate, timely electronic health records
• Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and administrators
• Accommodate fluctuating full-time schedules (3540 hrs/week during school year, 2225 hrs/week during ESY), generally MondayThursday during summer
