Key Qualifications:

• Active Missouri RN license in good standing (verified via Nursys, no incidents)
• Recent pediatrics experience, ideally in ICU, ER, or school environments
• Skilled in working independently as the lead nurse at a site after a thorough two-week training and shadowing period
• Comfortable with frequent schedule changes and quick reassignmentsflexibility and clear communication are essential
• Strong technology and multitasking abilities; all health documentation and charting are completed electronically
• Confident caring for children and adolescents of all ages, from preschoolers to high school seniors
• Not open to entry-level candidates; recent hands-on clinical experience is a must

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct, compassionate care to students across multiple sites, responding to both routine and urgent health situations
• Run the health room independently, collaborating with school teams and connecting with district health resources as needed
• Monitor and document student care thoroughly and accurately using digital records
• Accompany classes on field trips to provide on-the-spot nursing support
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff about health needs, protocols, and emergencies
