A Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity is available near Kansas City, MO, providing essential healthcare support across a dynamic school district environment. This role involves working 35-40 hours per week in a school setting, offering a chance to support students health and well-being from PreK through 12th grade at multiple sites within the district.
In this position, you will float between various locations, including health rooms and field trips, ensuring students receive timely and professional medical care. Flexibility in schedule and adaptability are key, as you may visit more than one school site per day, interacting with a diverse population of students across different grade levels.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri.
- Pediatric nursing (PEDS) experience is essential.
- Comfortable working with students from PreK through 12th grade.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and schedules within a school district.
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills to manage health needs effectively.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care and health assessments in multiple school settings.
- Provide support on field trips and other off-site school activities.
- Collaborate with staff to promote a safe and healthy environment for students.
- Respond to health emergencies and develop care plans as needed.
