In this contract role, you will provide dedicated one-on-one nursing care for a student requiring support during the academic year. You'll be stepping in during a current staff members maternity leave, ensuring continuity of care and a smooth transition for the student.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered RN license in Maine
• Previous experience in pediatric, school, or clinical nursing settings preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Capable of working independently and calmly in a school environment
• Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized nursing care to a student, covering daily health needs and any medical procedures necessary during school hours
• Collaborate with school staff, administration, and the student's family to ensure seamless care coordination
• Maintain detailed health records and documentation per school policies
• Monitor and respond to any health concerns, emergencies, or medication needs
• Adhere to confidentiality and HIPAA regulations at all times

This position begins as soon as possible and will follow a flexible schedule: 1-2 days per week for the remainder of the current school year and extended school year, followed by full-time hours beginning the next school year.
