Step into a rewarding contract nursing opportunity supporting students for the upcoming school year. Multiple RN and LPN positions are available, with start and end dates from early August 2026 to late May 2027. These roles will fill essential Health Office needs across school campuses as well as provide classroom and one-on-one nursing support.
If you are passionate about promoting student health and lend a steady, compassionate hand to children and school staff alike, this assignment offers you a chance to make a direct impact in educational settings. Specific location details are yet to be finalized by the district, but further information will be provided closer to the assignment start.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid, active RN or LPN license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience in school or pediatric settings is highly valued
- Ability to work independently or as part of a diverse school health team
- Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Availability for the full contract term
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide routine and emergency medical care to students and staff
- Support chronic illness management and medication administration
- Uphold care protocols in classroom and campus environments
- Deliver individualized services in 1:1 assignments, if applicable
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Promote healthy habits and preventive health initiatives
