This contract role is perfect for an experienced Registered Nurse ready to float throughout multiple sites, supporting PreK through 12th grade students in a vibrant educational setting. The position runs through the end of the school year, with the option to extend into an Extended School Year session in June.

What Youll Do:

• Serve as a general health room nurse, rotating between different schools within the district, sometimes visiting multiple sites per day
• Provide care across all grade levels, from PreK to high school, including on field trips and special events
• Receive comprehensive onboarding with two weeks of training alongside a seasoned nurse before independently managing your own health room
• Manage student health concerns, administer medications, and respond to emergencies with confidence and compassion
• Coordinate closely with school staff and adapt to ever-changing schedules based on field trips, call-outs, and site needs
• Maintain up-to-date, accurate digital health records using computer charting systems

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Holds an active and unencumbered RN license in Missouri (verified through Nursys)
• Strong pediatric experiencepreferably in ICU, ER, or schools (recent experience required; no new grads)
• Tech-savvy and comfortable with electronic documentation
• Flexible, adaptable, and effective communicator; able to adjust to last-minute schedule changes
• Willingness to work varied hours (ranging 7:00-2:30 or 9:00-4:30 depending on assignment)
