Step into a dynamic role supporting students well-being across a diverse, engaging school environment. This contract position is perfect for a Registered Nurse eager to make an impact in PreK-12 education settings. The assignment runs through late May, offering a unique opportunity to gain widespread experience by floating among multiple schools and facilitating field trips.

In this role, youll train with an experienced health professional for two weeks, after which youll independently run your own health room, providing vital care to students and staff. Your week may include visits to different campuses, with schedules that shift based on the needs of high schools and elementary schools. Flexibility and excellent communication skills are essentialyoull receive your schedule at the start of each week, with the possibility of changes as needs arise, including same-day adjustments.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Missouri RN license in good standingplease verify through Nursys
• Recent experience in pediatrics, ideally in ICU, ER, or school nursing settings
• Comfortable working solo as the designated RN in a school health room
• Experienced with digital charting, strong technical and multitasking abilities
• Thrives in environments with schedule variability and multiple site responsibilities
• Willingness to support field trips and work with students from PreK through 12th grade

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care across assigned school sites
• Maintain accurate electronic health records
• Oversee and manage health rooms, attending to routine and emergent student needs
• Support and accompany school field trips as needed
• Communicate promptly and effectively with staff, administration, and parents
